Services provided

Adult & Paediatric Support

New Frontiers Therapy primarily supports adults experiencing changes to communication, voice or swallowing associated with neurological conditions. Support may focus on maintaining communication, improving voice clarity, or ensuring eating and drinking remain safe and enjoyable.

Limited services may also be available for children when appropriate.

Ongoing Personalised Support

Personalised care is central to the services provided by New Frontiers Therapy.

At the beginning of support, time is taken to understand your history, current challenges and personal goals. Therapy is then tailored to your priorities and adapted over time as needs change. The aim is to ensure support remains meaningful, practical and relevant to everyday life.

Assessments & Reports

Speech pathology assessments may be conducted to better understand communication, voice or swallowing changes and to guide therapy planning.

Reports can be prepared when required, including documentation to support access to services or funding, communication with other health professionals involved in your care, or recommendations for ongoing support. Costs and options will always be discussed before proceeding with assessments or reports.

Choose Your Funding Pathway

New Frontiers Therapy recognises that each person’s circumstances are different and offers a range of funding pathways.

Services may be accessed through NDIS (self-managed or plan-managed), Home Care Packages, Private Health Insurance, Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans, the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ), or self-funded appointments.

Funding options can be discussed to help determine the most suitable pathway for your situation.
